Having twice been advised in writing of illegal drug trafficking and abuse directly across Dayton-Xenia Road from the Beavercreek High School; with full knowledge that hard proof exists that his department has been lied to; and aware of other possible criminal activities by these same parties, this response is incredible!

3:06 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2000 according to Ameritech voice mail
"Mr. Durnstein, This is Chief Scott, Beavercreek Police Department. I just got my second correspondence from you. We have the first on file as you requested. You did say something in the second one about my failure to respond. Your first letter really didn’t ask for a response. As I read it, it appeared to me that you were simply wanting us to maintain any contacts that we happen to have with any of the parties involved and the second letter appears to be similar in that regard and I would just simply say that any contact that we have we certainly are keeping a record of. If our officers have any contact or if any phone conversations that come in complaining about actions of either party then we certainly have a record of . . if some of that, some of those things that you are mentioning in there are really are things for prosecutors and attorneys to make some decisions on about whether or not there is guilt there or violations of the temporary protections - -protection order, but be that as it may, I just simply wanted to let you to know that we are keeping records of any information that we happen to get. However should you need something else for us to be doing I’m not aware of what it is at this point. If there is something else, you can call the pole department or at least send me a letter that advises it with a little more specific nature of what it is that you would like for us to do.
